Subject of Insurance:

Lawful property interests of the Assured connected with his liability under civil law of the Ukraine or international law to indemnify damage caused to third parties in result of occurrence of the insurable case, provided for on the contract of insurance or his liability to bear additional expenses incurred in the course of operation of the ship.

Risks covered:

• Liability to crew members;
• Liability to persons other than crewmember;
• Liability in respect of cargo shipped on the entered vessel;
• Liability for collision and damage caused to an other vessel or fixed and floating objects;
• Liability for pollution;
• Wreck removal;
• Sue and Labour and legal expenses;

PJSC “Crimean insurance company” provides arrangement of “Blue Cards” in accordance with CLC and Bunker’s Convention’s requirements.

Claims handling:

This is company’s routine work. 18 years experience allows us to deal with different types of claims by nature and amounts of money involved. Claims assignments generally are centered in solving cargo, collision, pollution, injury claims and others falling within the scope of company’s P&I cover. Within the team, our claims handlers have knowledge of maritime law and marine insurance practice. In difficult cases, we apply for handling to lawyers, experts, other specialists.

Insurance Policy produced by the company is accepted by the authorities of major international ports.
